For over nine years, I leverage my design skills to help SaaS and e-Commerce businesses to grow. I enjoy design from a strategic level to creating wireframes. 

Spending five and a half years at Later was one of the most rewarding experiences. I had the opportunity to wear many hats being employee #18, from designing all key features such as managing Instagram comments, to overseeing the Scheduling experience

As the company scaled from 20 to 160, I became the UX Design Lead, building a team from 1 (me) to 5 designers and helping them grow. In April 2022, Later was acquired for USD 135 million. This is one of my biggest career highlights and I appreciate the opportunity to be able to contribute to this endeavor.

2017 - 2022

  • Designed the experience for all web features when I was the only UX designer (2017-2018)

  • Transitioned to UX Lead building a team from 1 to 5 designers

  • Maintained individual contributions work as I oversaw the schedule experience by working with partners like TikTok and Instagram

  • A key contributor in helping Later being acquired in April for $135 million (USD)

Kit and Ace | UX Designer
2015 - 2017

  • Collaborated with the Creative team to translate editorial style into digital

  • Designed campaign mini-sites like Sorry Coffee

University of British Columbia | UX Designer (contract)
2014 - 2015

  • Designed the experience of a $3 million (CAD) funding academic project →Database of Religious History, an online quantitative and qualitative encyclopedia of religious cultural history

  • Designed the data entry workflow experience to reduce the abandon rate

  • Improved data entry completion rate by uncovering the motivations of contributors (users who enter the data) via research

  • The improved experience led to an additional $2.35M (CAD) funding in 2017

  • Collaborated with Mobify to optimize desktop campaign sites into mobile

  • Designed a mobile app concept that reduced the complexity of the processing eyes prescription and developed a swipe-to-scan prescription interaction
