I started my career out of college as a Business Analyst at a company that didn't have a UX team, which meant if I had a project with front-end changes, I was responsible. I would piece things together in Snag-It and send it to my colleagues and stakeholders for feedback. I didn't know it at the time, but I was setting myself up to make the move into UX Design.
3 years later, I've worked at both startups and publicly traded companies and my passion remains the same. Despite being an introvert, I get energy from talking directly to users to dig into their behaviors and patterns, to build things that solve for both the needs of the user and the business.
I have experience in eCommerce, but my passion lies in complex experiences, single page applications and specialized users. There's nothing more satisfying than finding a way to make complex applications less complicated for users.
In my free time I love to travel, exercise and try my hand at recreating my grandmother's Italian recipes. I also love helping out local small businesses with their websites and branding.
