The Wireframes - V. 1
Toronto Pearson Airport Homepage Redesign

Version 1 - Service & Task Oriented

This design is aimed to allow Travellers/users that are planning their visit and exploring options, quickly and efficiently navigate to the tasks/services they need.

  • This version is focused on driving Services and Tasks

  • Menu & Search are at the top which is easily accessible for anyone looking for specific info

  • Selecting Search will expand the header section to display a freeform keyword search to allow the user to quickly search for the info they need

  • Announcements should appear at the top so users can quickly obtain emergency and other types of announcements right away

  • Sticky nav featuring icons at the top of the page allows users to quickly navigate to the different services/journeys most Travellers would be interested in

  • A smaller rotating "Hero image" area will allow Marketing to communicate with the user without taking up too much real estate above the fold

  • Based on the current placement of the sections, Priority of featured sections/tools on the main page are assumed to be the most searched for/used on the current site

  • Flight Search - made more prominent selection options

  • Parking - condensed area by allowing the user to select the option they want more info on (or visit the page)

  • Shopping, Dining and Services - combined into a single category ("Things to do") and clearer navigation prompt to indicate that the user can select highlights between the Terminals
